ABOUT
Kari Aryeh is a UK based composer, producer and vocalist who reimagines the edges of neoclassical pop and sonic experimentation, blending shimmering textures with avant garde instinct. Her sound is as cinematic as it is emotionally raw.
Her voice has appeared in productions for the BBC, Netflix and Disney+. She collaborated with composer Marc Canham on the Disney+ series Culprits, and her vocals also feature in Netflix productions including Toxic Town, Legends and How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, created with Sion Trefor. Most recently, Kari’s voice became a core element of FOLDS, an innovative vocal instrument developed by Void and Vista and released through Native Instruments, pushing the boundaries of how the human voice can shape digital sound.
Her releases include “Sacred Circuit”, “Orbit”, “Azur” and “Earth”, produced in collaboration with leading engineers affiliated with Abbey Road Studios, including Alex Wharton (Aurora, Radiohead), Cicely Balston (Arlo Parks, Thom Yorke) and Christian Wright (Björk, FKA twigs, Blur).
Currently, Kari is composing a new sound installation for an exhibition opening this September at London’s Saatchi Gallery, a boundary blurring piece created in collaboration with audiovisual artist X New Worlds, continuing her dialogue between experimental sound and contemporary art.
